The 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics will took place in Northern Italy, mainly in Milan area (economic capital of Italy and icon of fashion style) and in Cortina area (a pretty town in the center of probably the most beautiful mountains, the Dolomytes), but in other marvellous sites too.

In fact, some competitions will be hosted in:

Bormio and Livigno (Valtellina Valley - Northern Lombardy, close to Switzerland and St. Mortiz) - alpine skiing, ski mountaineering, snowboarding, freestyle skiing.

Bormio is an ancient thermal town, Livigno a modern style town known for no-vat shops. Both are ski resorts and close to Stelvio National Park.

Predazzo and Cresero (Di Fiemme Valley, famous not only for the relaxing landscape, but for delcious local food products too) - ski jumping, nordic combined, cross-country skiing.

The closing ceremony will took place in Verona, the city of love, precisely in the ancient Roman Arena, temple of the Opera.
